Caisse Desjardins de l'Éducation
McGill Faculty of Education recently announced a generous donation of $250,000 from La Caisse Desjardins de l’Éducation; a five-year commitment that aims to increase research output and improve student success. This gift will provide funding from 2022 through 2027 for research projects related to STEAM education, new learning technologies, and the post-pandemic digital shift in teaching and learning.
B.A. (Education); Major in Education in Global Contexts
The Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) launched an interdisciplinary undergraduate program for the Fall 2022 semester, the B.A.(Education); Major in Education in Global Contexts, to address the changing educational landscape. This new Bachelor of Arts program, promoted as “Education in New Spaces,” combines the fundamental concepts of teaching and learning with a practical internship outside of the typical elementary or high school settings.
